This is a piece is another one of my re-worked pieces. I originally drew this guy in color and I wanted to see how this one looked in black and white. I am pleased with the results.
Barbary lion
The Barbary lion was hunted to extinction in the 1960s. And the species as a whole could be extinct by 2050. Lions are now extinct in 26 African countries. In the last century, their numbers have gone from 200,000 to 23,000 because of habitat destruction.
