Overwatch
Medicine Owl – I call him “Overwatch”
I had read a story of a man who had moved off the grid in Alaska. On moving there he built a barn his house etc. After a couple of months, an owl moved in and helped keep the rat population down. The man was so thankful he built the Owl a house. Months later winter kicked in. The man was out trapping when a whiteout occurred. Panicking he tried to find his way back to his house. It quickly became night when suddenly the man heard an Owl close as he moved closer the Owl would change position and the calls would come from different directions leading the man back to his house. He later found that the Owl had led him around a sheer cliff and saved his life.
